The design of the attire worn by members of the Italian Air Force served as the impetus for the creation of the Aeronautica Militare brand. All of the badges and insignia that are utilised in the Aeronautica Militare Collection are identical to those that are worn by Air Force pilots on a daily basis, as stated on the official website of the company.

The significance and the past
In a manner similar to that of the Chanel logo, the emblem of the Aeronautica Militare may be disassembled into two components: the graphic portion and the textual part.

The main design shows an image of an animal in flight. The wings are in a wide-open position. You can make out a crown perched on top of the bird’s head. The overall pattern is gold with a darker border.
The words “Aeronautica Militare” are written in the space below the bird. The letters have a dark navy blue coloration. They use a slab serif typeface that is hefty and powerful.
A roundel with rings in red, green, and white may be seen down below (the colours of the Flag of Italy).
