To begin, what is Pontiac?
Pontiac was the brand name of a defunct American automaker that began production in the middle of the 1920s and remained a division of General Motors until 2010. The brand’s automobiles did particularly well in the North and South American markets.
A Timeframe Covering the Years 1926-1930
The original Pontiac logo was created soon after the company was given its current name. For a while, the company’s logo included a red and blue shield inside a gold border that said “Oakland” to honour its hometown. The new logo was a milestone for the corporation since it was more subdued while still being highly vivid and lively.

Originally introduced in 1926, the Pontiac emblem included a Native American man’s visage in white with a gold outline, superimposed on a brilliant red shield. The nameplate, which was set in a classic font and rendered in white capital letters, was shown above the image.
